Timepixels

The photographs are making an attempt to capture time in a visible format. A new construct is born and reality becomes questionable and virtual receives priority. Space changes, sight and story emerges in a new different way. In these shots a story of 30 – 90 ms is captured in a distinguee way in one photograph. The baseline starting point of the photographs is a motion capture and the processing of this material is progressed according to the slit camera working method. During the flow of dissembling the video to shots the pictures to pixels anew picture is building and adding up. The final appearance of the images is a wet plate collodion. This technique (where the image is to be taken in its final form there and now) strengthens the sense of “here and now” and the “false document” character of the take.
